Women in STEM Career Summit set for HU Philadelphia


Interested in supporting women professionals in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields?

Then save the date for the Women in STEM Career Summit set to take place at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology’s downtown Philadelphia location on June 8.

The event, hosted by the STEM-UP Network and Inspiring Women in Stem, will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1500 Spring Garden Street, Suite 101.

Who should attend?

Women professionals in STEM, to include women from industry and government, and STEM graduate and doctoral students, post-docs, alumni, and faculty.

The Summit will spotlight women professionals in STEM careers, and you will learn about

the work women STEM professionals have accomplished, their journey and what they are doing now.

Q&A sessions will follow discussions throughout the day. And there will be networking opportunities with other women in STEM professions. There also will be workshops focused on such topics as topics as, “Navigating Your Career in STEM,” “Building Your Strategic Networks and Mentoring Relationships,” “Finding Your Voice,” and “Entrepreneurship: Side Hustles and Passion Projects.”
