HU to host ‘Pandemic and Healthcare Innovations’ panel discussion


Harrisburg University’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is proud to present a timely “Pandemic and Healthcare Innovations” panel discussion series about how smart leaders innovate and pivot during uncertain times from 12-1 p.m. on Aug. 19.

The first virtual session of “Pandemic and Healthcare Innovations” brings together three leaders working in healthcare within central Pennsylvania.

They are:

  • Michael Fiaschetti, President at MediPlanConnect – Michael is President of MediPlanConnect. MediPlanConnect is an insurance and advisory service company licensed to sell Medicare Advantage plans, Medicare Supplement plans, prescription drug plans and other ancillary health and life products.

  • Jeannine Peterson, MPA. CEO at Hamilton Health Center – Jeannine Peterson is CEO of Hamilton Health Center. Hamilton Health Center has been serving the Harrisburg Community since 1969. They are a multicultural, multilingual, family-friendly, community health care center in Harrisburg, Pa., providing medical, dental, and behavioral primary health care services to individuals, regardless of their income status.

  • Dr. Nirmal Joshi, Internal Medicine & Infectious Diseases Physician, Executive VP and CMO at Mount Nittany Health System – Dr. Joshi, an Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases physician, is an accomplished physician leader and currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Mount Nittany Health System in State College, PA. He has provided leadership for many health systems both in the United States and in international settings.
