HU kicks off Cyber Security Awareness Month with security summits
With National Cyber Security Awareness Month upon us, Harrisburg University’s Government Technology Institute is hosting two timely cyber/information security summits on the university’s main campus in Harrisburg.
Today, the GTI is co-hosting the BSides Conference. The BSides Conference is an information security event that focuses on the BSides framework that has created a global identity of community-driven security individuals working to build closer ties locally. BSides Harrisburg’s goal is to form a community of like-minded people who share similar attributes and are looking to expand their knowledge and/or strength by organizing with others who share the same information security goal.
